MS 1018 Automatic silk-screen printing machine suitable for the decoration of cylindrical containers, with the following features: - 18 station indexing turret with intermittent operation, mechanical-type drive; - entirely mechanical movements to activate the screen and squeegee carriages, to lift the screen from the container after printing and to grip the container between the base-plate and the counterpoints (or mandrels) during printing; - printing head adjustable in height by means of 1 control to allow printing on containers of various shapes and sizes; - double squeegee, for both printing and ink recovery, electropneumatic control with vertical movement (electronic control upon request); - fine adjustment of the pressure of the printing and ink-recovery squeegee by means of 2 independent register screws, controlled by a step-by-step motor with remote control located outside the safety guardings; - right/left setting of printing screen adjusted by a step-by-step motor with remote control located outside the safety guardings; - control of all machine functions by a PLC with Bus Field digital system with electronic cams and automatic advances; - adjustment of the screen and squeegee-carriages stroke with a scale in millimeters; - three-way fine adjustment for the screen; - adjustable screen holding arms; - maximum printing area 200 mm x 250 mm; - drive gear for the rotation of containers during printing, driven by a gear; - machine start with one manual push button. Machine can also be started by a 3-position safety “jog” push-button; - machine stop by means of a push button which can be shifted to a position convenient to the operator; - electric transformer inside the control board to allow the 24 Volts operation of various electric and ancillary controls; - set up for combination with all optional devices; - "no container no print" device to keep the printing squeegee raised if a container does not come into printing position; - device for inflating containers that are not sufficiently rigid to be printed, includes manometer and pressure regulator; - speed variator with 3-phase motor with frequency inverter and electronic control of the number of revolutions; mechanical output range 0 to 9.000 pcs/hr.
